1. Purpose
The 『雲端貓居 NyankoHost』 Partner Program exists to support projects, individuals and teams that meaningfully contribute to the community and align with our mission of providing accessible services to users. This program provides discretionary access to additional hosting resources and benefits beyond our standard free service in exchange for community value, collaboration, and trust.
2. Nature of the Program
Before applying to the Partner Program, please note that:
- Participation is selective and by application or invitation only
- Partner status is not a paid product or subscription
- Partner status is not guaranteed, permanent, or transferrable
- Acceptance into the program is based on mutual benefit and not "first-come, first-served"
We reserve full discretion over:
- Approving or rejecting applications
- Granting, modifying, or revoking Partner status and benefits
- Changing program terms and conditions
3. Eligibility
To be considered for the Partner Program, applicants must generally demonstrate:
3.1 Project Maturity and Adoption
For public-facing Discord bots or web services, applicants are expected to meet all of the following criteria:
- The bot is Discord verified, and
- All required privileged gateway intents (e.g. Members, Presence, Message Content) have been formally approved by Discord where applicable, and
- The project demonstrates real-world adoption by meeting at least one of the following:
- Invited to more than 100 Discord servers, or
- Used by more than 100 active user installations, or
- Website traffic exceeding 300 unique visitors per month
These requirements exist to ensure projects are mature, compliant with policy standards, have a predictable workload behavior, and provide meaningful community value.
3.1.1 Exceptions
The above criteria may be exempted on a case-by-case basis if the applicant can clearly demonstrate that the project:
- Introduces a genuinely innovative or substantially unique concept, and
- Provides functionality or value not already offered by existing tools, and
- Has a credible technical design, responsible resource usage model, and a clear execution plan
Such exceptions are rare, discretionary, and evaluated based on technical merit and community impact, not popularity or future promises.
Meeting or exempting these criteria does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
3.2 Community Value and Differentiation
The Partner Program is intended to support projects that provide meaningful, differentiated value to the community.
As such, projects whose primary functionality operates within highly saturated or commoditized categories may not be accepted, even if they meet other eligibility criteria.
Examples of commonly saturated categories include, but are not limited to:
- Basic or general-purpose moderation bots
- Simple utility bots with widely available equivalents
- Feature sets that closely replicate existing, well-established tools without substantial innovation or differentiation
This policy exists to ensure that limited partner resources are allocated to projects that bring unique contributions, address underserved or unmet needs, or provide clear improvements or unique approaches beyond what is already widely available.
3.3 Advertising and Promotion Partners
In limited cases, we may collaborate with partners for advertising, promotional, or awareness building purposes, where such collaboration is deemed beneficial to both parties, including our user community.
These partnerships are intended to increase awareness of useful, relevant, and high-quality projects, support community initiatives without compromising user trust, and provide visibility to projects that align with our values and mission.
3.3.1 Eligibility for Advertising and Promotion Partners
To be considered for advertising or promotional collaboration, applying projects must:
- Be legitimate, well-maintained, and compliant with all relevant policies and terms
- Demonstrate a clear relevance to:
- The 『雲端貓居 NyankoHost』 user community
- The broader Discord ecosystem
- The interests and needs of our target audience
- Avoid deceptive, misleading, or manipulative practices in their promotional content or campaigns
- Maintain a positive reputation within the community, with no history of significant policy violations or unethical behavior
Projects in high-risk or low-trust categories will generally not be considered for advertising or promotional partnerships.
3.3.2 Nature of Advertising and Promotion Partnerships
Advertising and promotional support may include, at our discretion:
- Mentions in announcements or updates
- Features on our official website, documentation, or social media channels
- Collaborative events, giveaways, or campaigns
- Limited co-branding or cross-promotion activities
We does not guarantee any specific level of exposure, engagement, or results from such partnerships, nor exclusivity to any particular project or category.
3.3.3 Separation from Standard Partner Program
Advertising and promotional collaboration:
- Does not automatically grant additional hosting resources or benefits associated with the standard Partner Program
- Does not bypass technical, compliance, or eligibility requirements of the standard Partner Program
- Does not imply endorsement or validation of the project beyond the scope of the specific promotional activity
Any resource extensions associated with advertising partners are evaluated and granted separately if justified under standard Partner Program criteria.
3.3.4 Transparency and User Trust
We are committed to transparency.
Where appropriate, promotional content will be clearly identified to avoid misleading users.
We will not:
- Insert third-party advertisements into our Service
- Sell user data for advertising purposes
- Force users to interact with promotional content
3.4 Recognition and Public Reputation
All approved partners may be publicly listed on our website or materials as part of transparency and ecosystem recognition.
Because such listings reflect directly on 『雲端貓居 NyankoHost』, all partners are expected to meet basic recongnizability and reputation standards.
To be eligible, partners must:
- Be reasonably identifiable as a project, team, organization, or individual with a public presence
- Have a verifiable public presence, such as:
- An official website
- A public documentation or code repository (e.g., GitHub, GitLab)
- A dedicated Discord server or social media presence
- Maintain a generally positive reputation within the community, with no known history of:
- Scams, fraud, or deceptive practices
- Significant policy violations or legal issues
- Abandonment or neglect of the project leading to user harm
- Harmful, unethical, or malicious activity
We reserve the right to decline or revoke partner status if a project's reputation, public perception, or conduct may reasonably pose trust, safety, or legal risks to our users or brand.
3.4.1 New or Emerging Projects
New or early-stage projects may still be considered if they can demonstrate:
- Clear ownership or maintainership by identifiable individuals or teams
- A credible vision, roadmap, and commitment to responsible development
- No indicators of elevated abuse or reputational risk
Acceptance of such projects remains discretionary and may be limited in scope or duration.
4. What the Program Offers

- Emergency actions may be taken without prior notice if a partner's project poses immediate risks to service stability, security, or compliance
Partners are not exempt from standard policies, abuse prevention measures, monitoring, or enforcement actions.

- Continued active maintenance and development of the project
- Compliance with program expectations and responsibilities
- Ongoing community value and reputation
- Resource usage patterns and adherence to fair use principles
Inactive or non-compliant partners may be downgraded or removed from the program.
We are not obligated to provide prior notice before modifying or terminating partner status, though we will endeavor to provide reasonable communication where feasible.
7. Termination of Partnership
We may terminate a partnership at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to:
- Usage poses a risk to platform stability, security, or IP reputation of our infrastructure
- Abuse patterns or repeated policy violations are observed
- Changes in project status, ownership, or direction that affect eligibility
- Administrative or operational contact is repeatedly ignored
- Continued participation is no longer mutually beneficial
- Mutual agreement to end the partnership
Such actions are final, may not be appealed, and are taken to protect the integrity of our service and community.
8. What the Program is Not
To avoid misunderstandings, please note that the Partner Program is not:
- A paid service or subscription tier
- A reward for popularity, size, or influence
- A marketing or sponsorship arrangement
- A promise of long-term or fixed resource allocations
- An exemption from standard policies, monitoring, or enforcement actions
9. Relationship to Future Paid Services
The Partner Program is independent of any paid services we may offer in the future.
Participation does not imply entitlement to discounts, priority access, or migration benefits if paid offerings are introduced later.
10. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time to reflect operational needs, infrastructure changes, or community feedback. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice (such as via email, dashboard, or announcement).
